(article 3) There's a wide-open fight for two openings in the rotation, but manager Lou Piniella said Monday that there's no room in that fight for prospects, no matter how thrilling their performance. (article 5) General manager Jim Hendry wouldn't address specific teams or players but said reports that things are "heating up" with any team are wrong. (article 23) Cubs manager Lou Piniella says nothing is lost in translation with Kosuke Fukudome when the Cubs' new right fielder swings a bat. (article 10) TUCSON, Ariz. With Carlos Zambrano scheduled to pitch the first time the Cubs saw the Arizona Diamondbacks since getting swept out of the playoffs in October, manager Lou Piniella was ready to respond before the first question was finished.
