Obama related to Pitt, Clinton to Jolie :: CHICAGO SUN-TIMES :: Barack Obama (U.S., 55 articles)
RADNOR, Pennsylvania (Reuters) - Democratic presidential contender Hillary Clinton said on Friday that rival Barack Obama could not stand the pressure of the White House after the Illinois senator complained about tough questions at a debate. WASHINGTON (Reuters) - After a tough six-week stretch of campaign gaffes, roaring controversies and heightened scrutiny, Barack Obama's presidential bid appears as strong as ever and rival Hillary Clinton is running out of time to change the script. USA TODAY WASHINGTON - Dozens of uncommitted superdelegates with sway over the Democratic presidential nomination say Pennsylvania's primary on Tuesday won't be the decisive factor in their choice between Hillary Rodham Clinton and Barack Obama. Obama would slaughter McCain, say the pundits, who love citing the 1960 presidential campaign debates in which JFK faced off against Richard Nixon. Some 35,000 people jammed into Independence Park to see the Democratic presidential candidate, four days before this state's crucial April 22 primary. Obama said at a private fundraiser in San Francisco that working class voters "get bitter" and " cling to guns or religion. After all, candidates say dumb or inartful things all the time, and that usually produces a one- or two-day flap.

JOHANNESBURG, SOUTH AFRICA As the toll of Zimbabwe opposition supporters injured in postelection violence rose to more than 200 on Thursday, South Africa hardened its position on the crisis, calling for the speedy release of election results. Zimbabwe's controversial president , Robert Mugabe, made a blistering attack Friday on the country's former colonial power, saying the British were "thieves" who paid opposition supporters to oppose his government. The country has yet to publish the results of its presidential election on 29 March, which the MDC opposition says was won outright by its candidate Morgan Tsvangirai.

ABC News: Iraqi Troops Quit Sadr City Fight (World, 12 articles)
Trying to stem the infiltration of militia fighters, American forces have begun to build a massive concrete wall that will partition Sadr City, the densely populated Shiite neighborhood in the Iraqi capital. The construction, which began Tuesday night, is intended to turn the southern quarter of Sadr City near the international Green Zone into a protected enclave, secured by Iraqi and American forces, where the Iraqi government can undertake reconstruction efforts. American casualties have risen with an outbreak of fighting in Baghdad between U.S. and Iraqi forces and the largest Shiite militia - the Mahdi Army of anti-American cleric Muqtada al-Sadr.

Now Levine's been making news every day with his testimony - including fessing up to millions of dollars in bribery on government deals and decades of abusing drugs.
