(article 1) The number of international visitors topped the 1 million mark on Monday, 22 days faster than last year, state-controlled Cuban news media reported. (article 1) Led by President Bush, a chorus of officials expressed hope that Castro's departure would spark fundamental changes for the Cuban people. (article 4) Their expectations, already raised by Raul Castro's talk of "structural changes" and "big decisions" to come, couldn't be higher. (article 6) "Socialism or death" was Castro's rallying cry long after his beard turned gray, the Soviet Union broke up and communism toppled across eastern Europe. (article 5)
