Obama, Clinton woo Hoosiers :: CHICAGO SUN-TIMES :: Barack Obama (U.S., 48 articles)
With all districts reporting, Obama collected 2,264 votes to 2,257 for Clinton in an election that sparked wide interest even though Guamanians, like other citizens in US territories, have no vote in the November presidential election. In CNN's "poll of polls" released Friday, Obama is leading Clinton in North Carolina by 10 points: 50 percent to 40 percent, with 10 percent unsure. Neither candidate campaigned in the U.S. island territory in person, but both did long-distance media interviews and bought campaign ads for the caucuses. During that period, the numbers viewing Clinton and Republican candidate John McCain negatively have stayed about even. INDIANAPOLIS - Have Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton's chances of winning the Democratic presidential nomination improved? The answer is yes, based in part on new polls, her advisers said Thursday.
