Summary from multiple countries, from articles in English
The Hezbollah leader pledged to comply with a provision of the Arab League-brokered agreement that forbids the use of arms to achieve political gains. (article 7) JERUSALEM - Israel handed over a convicted Hezbollah spy to Lebanon on Sunday and in a surprise move the Islamic guerrilla group turned over what it said were the body parts of Israeli soldiers killed in a 2006 war. (article 1) Israel said that Sunday's exchanges were unrelated to a deal that would include Israel releasing the longest-serving Lebanese prisoner and Hezbollah setting free two soldiers captured in a 2006 raid that sparked the monthlong war. (article 2) BEIRUT, Lebanon Lebanon's feuding factions ended an 18-month political crisis Wednesday after reaching a breakthrough deal that gives the militant Hezbollah and their allies veto power on any government decision. (article 6) The agreement is a major triumph for Hezbollah, handing the armed Shiite guerrilla group increased political power and further eroding the government's frail command of the religiously and politically divided country. (article 6) Hezbollah, the militant Shiite group based in Lebanon, transferred the remains in a coffinlike container across the Lebanon-Israel border via intermediaries with the International Committee of the Red Cross. (article 4) The ICRC confirmed it had received a box of human remains from Hezbollah which it had turned it over to Israel. (article 5)
