Priest caught ranting about Hillary at Obama's church :: CHICAGO SUN-TIMES :: Barack Obama
Summary from United States, from articles in English
May 1, 2008 CHICAGO - Some parishioners at the United Church of Christ are so steamed by Barack Obama s condemnation of the Rev. Jeremiah Wright that they say the presidential hopeful might want to find another place to worship. (article 3) Lathan was referring to Obama's repudiation at a Tuesday press conference of some of Wright's statements against the US government. (article 3) WASHINGTON In a painful episode of his quest for the White House, likely Democratic presidential nominee Sen. Barack Obama said Saturday his family withdrew their membership at Chicago's Trinity United Church of Christ. (article 4) The damage control came as his church and controversial sermons from the Trinity pulpit were increasingly becoming a target that threatened Obama's presidential bid. (article 4) Pfleger spoke at Trinity last Sunday night, and his videotaped comments about Clinton started to ricochet around the Internet. (article 6) Pfleger continues, referring to Clinton's tearing up just before the New Hampshire primary which may have helped her win. (article 6) " The last few days have been the most painful days of my life, even more so than the murder of Jarvis, my foster son Pfleger said. (article 5)
