Packers say Vikings tampered with Brett Favre
Summary from multiple countries, from articles in English
The Green Bay Packers have filed tampering charges against the Minnesota Vikings alleging that the team made inappropriate contact with Brett Favre, a person familiar with the Packers' complaint said Wednesday night. (article 1) The person, who requested anonymity because of the sensitivity of the subject, said Packers officials have expressed their belief that interest from the Vikings was driving Favre's sudden change of heart about playing football in 2008. (article 2) In the second part of an interview with Fox News, the 38-year-old quarterback said he knows his arrival in camp would cause a media circus. (article 4) Such discussions would include the possibility of Favre leaving the Packers for their NFC North rivals in Minnesota. (article 7) Favre retired after last season as the quarterback of the Green Bay Packers, but there have been reports that Brett wants to come back. (article 10) Allegations of tampering are touchy subjects among professional sports franchises, and the penalties can include the loss of draft choices and fines. (article 6) GRETA VAN SUSTEREN, FOX NEWS HOST: But first, part two of our interview with Packer legend Brett Favre. (article 9) There is no doubt in my mind that the Pats would have won the Super Bowl had Charlie Weis been in charge of the offense. (article 11)
